Mentora Conwy - Well-being without Walls

Well-being Without Walls is a partnership between Tan Y Maen Wellbeing and Resource Centre and PRIME CIC.  The aim is to make North Wales is a good place for those of us who have mental health issues to live full lives within our local communities and generally to live well.

To achieve this, we need to identify local needs, make mental health support services available locally, challenge attitudes, understanding and behaviours around mental health which reinforce stigma, isolation and exclusion and affect the take up of support services which are available.

We need to inspire local communities, organisations and businesses to become more aware and understanding of mental health, and more inclusive. We also need to engage collectively with local people directly affected by mental health issues as their voices are central in informing commissioning and service delivery.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING REFERRALS (you can refer yourself too) AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS to support others in the local community

If you or someone you care for needs support click the 'ring of hands' picture to the left to be taken to the page where you will find out more information about mentoring and be able to complete a referral form.

If you can spare an hour or two of your time a week to be a volunteer mentor click the 'signpost' to the left and that will take you to the page where you will be able to get more information about volunteering with Mentora Conwy and download a volunteer pack.
